I wonder if anyone has tried this:
  • Ported TB
  • Ported stock manifold
  • Ported heads
  • e85
  • Rotofab
  • Tune

Except for the Rotofab it would look stock.

Opinions?

And later the 4.10 Gear for the M6 when it comes out.

I went 10.90's in +2K DA with the above unless I missed something.

I have to add my 10.37@133 that happened at the LS Fest so I beat my Oct. prediction on the et but no the mph. We will see if I can pick up some mph at St Louis next weekend at the street car takeover, it is going to be in the upper 80's so don't know I can pick up much in those weather conditions.

And I wonder how close an M6 car could get to Pray's times with 4.10s?

This reminds me of a quote by Coach Bum Phillips:

"He can take his'n and beat your'n, then he can take your'n and beat his'n."

Let's phrase this a different way, what times do you think you'd get with those boltons + 4.10s on your M6

And as of currently, the M6's still can't get the power down to 60' without a bog or a spin. If I could get the ECM to let me put the power down, there's no reason it shouldn't do a 1.6/1.5 60' and bring me into the 10's. But it won't do better then a 1.7 without bogging.

That sucks that the M6 cars are set up that way. Best I was able to do in my Z06 was 1.51 on some busted ET streets. That Tex twin clutch I was running way back then though was either hit or quit. No slipping that thing. I freaking miss that car. It was beast.

Yea, some people have even talked with HPTuners to see if there's a table that the M6 people are missing. I, personally, think it has something to do with the variable cam timing because when I try to launch at anything over 3500 RPM I have to slip the snot out of the clutch. If I side step it the car either bogs or blows the tires off. There is no hard launch. Trying to hold the pedal at 3500 while class racing in a pro tree doesn't work out too well. Lol

Too bad the Chevy Performance guys can't help figure this out.
