Airdensityonline is way better than Drag times. You have to make sure that the track altitude is correct and Dragtimes has some of them incorrect. But there is no better way then a Kestrel. You just have to let it settle and keep the wind off of it. My usual track sits next to the local airport so I log the airport weather system through USairnet.com, the Kestrel and Airdensityonline. Between the three you can get the accurate DA. The Kestrel doesn't agree with Airdensityonline most of the time by a couple hundred feet. It seems that going up on DA above say -500 has the greatest effect. I think at a certain point -DA stops being as big of a factor as +DA. I feel that at a certain point of -DA there just isn't much to be gained. You can only run so much timing and lean the fuel out so much to take advantage.

I have a lot of drag racing to do even this summer. I have much invested and Meth is going on Wednesday and tuning this weekend for it. I have street takeover on the 27th and plan on running 10.40 or 10.50s that weekend. I don't think I'll have to worry about getting kicked out at this event at gateway. I'm going to turn it loose with the help of Mike from Magnuson, he's tuning it this weekend and I might even throw in the tranny tune a guy helped me with. I think he has a pretty fast Camaro also. Pretty sure he knows who I'm talking about. Thx Brett

Go get'em buddy. Can't wait to see your final numbers all dialed in and with some decent weather. If anyone is going to get the most out of it you will. Good luck with your races.

So right now 5/16/2017 12:30 EDST noonish for Atco NJ:

Drag times: 809 (11:54 AM)

AD Online: 1,061 (Now I suppose)

Maybe they are close as Atco is only 33 feet above sea level. Enjoy the Atco air while you can. Soon you will need a boat.

Those are good numbers for sure. Anything below 1500 is not bad. The 2700 plus I was encountering slows any car down, NA more then SC cars.

For you iPhone users get Density Alt+. It is worth the couple of bucks. It will use GPS to get your location and elevation. Easier and quicker than any other solution I've found.
