I recently purchased a 2018 SS 1LE with Longtubes, Cats, Borla, Rotofab and Pray Tune. Ran 11.97 @ 117 in Orlando with 1625 DA in 82* weather on original tires. Had to REALLY slip clutch hard to get a 1.80 60' Was very surprised, 12.24 @ 117 had been my quickest in better weather, but 2.00 60' times.

Thanks guys. The 28" slicks just dead hook. A 26" would be a little faster. 28's are a little tall for a bolt on car. Still have to find a way around the 5k rpm launch limit. DA was 1200ft.

When you say there’s a 5k launch limit do you mean you have to launch at that or you can’t launch over that? I just got a set of my street r mounted on mine so looking for all the launching tips I can find for when I take it out.

Dead stop, clutch pedal depressed, you can put the accelerator to the floor and you're limited to 5k. Unfortunately it's a limiter set in the body control module which we don't have access to for tuning.

The best 60' foots were achieved with a quick rev to get the engine to push past that limiter by a few hundred rpm, then quick uptake of the clutch pedal about 3/4 into engagement to get the car to squat. Then slipping the clutch through the last 1/4 of the engagement while trying to keep the rpm above 3500. Too much slip for too long was slower and just a full clutch dump would bog and was slower. Takes some practice to get it right.
