Al Oppenheiser answers the Z/28 question...
Before the video starts, the question was asked, "will there be a Z/28?"
He jokingly asks the guy if he wont tell anyone (as the guy is holding a camera), and answers with the following:

He isn't going to come out and say the Z/28 is coming, but he did in so many words.

For those wondering, he gave a political answer. He stated that they will never be done tinkering and if they come up with something withn the spirit of what the badge stands for, they'll slap it on there.

So has anyone noticed that in all of the trivia videos so far on the 50th page http://www.chevrolet.com/celebrate-t...y-edition.html, that a Z/28 makes an appearance either as the last car in the video or the star of the video?

There is great skill in the ability to answer a question to the satisfaction of the asker without answering the question.

I agree. I guess he needs more practice at it.

What the Spirit of Z/28 means to you, me or a corporate exec. could be totally different.

Just currious.... What's the difference if he spills the beans or not? He doesn't have to go into specifics but what's the difference if the Z/28 is confirmed or not? It's not like Ford will come out with a Z/29 Mustang if they found out GM was making a Z/28 Camaro lol

I agree however he said (something to the effect of) for the particular Camaro to be offered it has to be built to live up to its name. For the Z/28 it was never about just high HP (I think the LT4 is out) it was/is handling, braking and HP...all about balance.
