dude, I work for a GM dealer and I am in the dark as much as you are. there is no good line of communication from the manufacturer and the shipper. my car has been built since the beginning of May and it's just sitting in Lansing waiting on a truck to ship it to Chicagoland. I'm dying here myself too. I call Jack Cooper every day for an update and it's always the same reply, waiting for a hauler, we'll mark it hot....

Totally agree. What they're forgetting is that times will change and the market will slow down. They'll be hungry for buyers again soon and will regret screwing so many of us. I was a HARDCORE Ford guy until 2003 when they tried to get out of warranty repairs on my 2000 Mustang GT. They were just complete assholes to me, and at that time I had never dealt with such terrible customer service. I even drafted a letter explaining that I had always bought Fords and was very upset by how I was being treated. I sent it off to Ford HQ, but they didn't even reply. I swore off Ford after that and started looking at Chevys. Sold that mustang and bought my first z/28 (a lightly used 99) and the rest is history. If I lose out on this 23 order after already missing out on the 22 I had ordered, I'm done with Chevy for good.

You need to find a Dealer with an allocation and your order will be accepted. Don’t sit around waiting for your current Dealer or you could lose out.

Yes 1LE is 0% constraint for now. Looks like will be September before any 1LE orders will move out of 1100 status. If already at 3000 or further should not affect you. With GM though you never know what could happen though unfortunately.

I wonder what percentage of all orders in the system are 1LE's. It has to be fairly low. And if it is low, then why is it under constraint? So frustrating

I sent that email on Monday 6/21. I just heard that the Regional Manager for the dealership knew about my email. Not sure if it will help, but they know we are frustrated. I understand it's constraint issues...

Americans have never felt the frustration of not being able to purchase what we want, until the pandemic...

My dealer just told me my TPW moved back in to 7/18. It had got pushed out to 7/25 a few weeks ago. He made sure to mention that anything can change with all the interruptions in production. Even after scheduling.
