I had been at 1100 for 250 something days, it's almost impossible to know about allocations. You can ask your dealer where YOU fit in to the number of cars that they have on order for their customers. When I placed my order there were 14 other orders in front of me for that dealer. I never got a 22 and had to reorder a 23 where I am now at slot #1 for the next allocation they get.

It's possible, I suppose. But I'd recommend having a backup plan. Good Luck!

Hi, it looks like I have the same TPW june 27th. The problem for me is that it is impossible for Joe to check my order status as it is a Canadian order. For one the 3.6V6 is one of the most Constraint engines at GM. There prioritizing SUVs and CUVs and Cadillac that uses that engine since they make more money with those vehicles. Also the fact that your ordering a convertible on top of that is kinda funny. If a 3.6 V6 engine is allocated to a Camaro, the Coupe would be prioritized over the convertible. But Good luck to you.

Edit: It's MUCH easier getting a V8 than a V6, my suggestion would be changing your order to a LT1. GM will actually and eventually accept that order, a V6 convertible has the likelihood of being accepted as someone trying to cancel Christmas.

I don't want a V8; this is for my son in a few years so we don't need a V8 for gas/insurance/power reasons. I'll be ordering a second one as an LT1 Convertible for later in the 2023 model year or 2024 for me.


Do you think I would have better luck with a Turbo4 3LT vert for this 2023 vert now?

Look if thats really your situation then you are seriously at the wrong dealer. There is no secret to the big dealers around the country that do big camaro and corvette business. Order from one of them and you can be assured you will get accepted quick.
