Following for updates on Constraints... Just orders a ZL1 1LE auto w/ PDR

I've had my 1LE build on the system for 190 days now, with a dealership that sells a ton of them. Order still at 1100. Being in Canada sucks. I'm so tired of this BS. I get that the world is not the same, but this will be my 3rd ZL1, and my 13th new GM vehicle. I see 1LEs being built and delivered in the US, but no love in Canada.

I just don't get it. Like, really don't get it.

It certainly doesn’t seems fair…. Hope GM Canada get things sorted soon!

Actually, I was told that Lansing does not ship ZLEs in freezing weather, due to the 3R tires (which they also didn’t do for Z06s as far as I remember), since they would get damaged. Wonder if that’s the reason they won’t even pick your order up, since the car couldn’t make it to you without going through very cold weather?

If so, you would think GM would at least tell you this much…

As far as looking at the inventory on GM’s website I would say that rumor is false.
There have been at least 3 ZLE’s that hit dealers in the last two weeks in Ohio, PA and MI. Currently freezing temps with snow on the ground.
I’ve been stalking that site and the dealers in question went from in transit to having just delivered show room pics.

Two ZL1s just arrived here at the dealer in Regina, non-1LEs though. I would've picked up the satin steel one if it wasn't auto. Custom order where I have to wait 6 months it is.

Is it Wheaton that has the 2 ZL1's? If so is the black ZL1 convertible now in stock?

My wife has been waiting 9 months and 1 day for her ZL1 convertible with no change in order status for over 4 months.

Yes those are the ones. I was called Friday by the dealer and told they'll be arriving this week. If these unicorns arrive, I would dump your order and pick one up.

EDIT: I see both of those have gone up in price $5k each since their initial list price. Like hell if I'm paying over MRSP.

Need to bring in the current ride for an appraisal but it’s hard in this weather. Plus I’m in no rush.

I had the best luck w/ Vroom and Driveways for amounts. May not be as good as a dealer will offer you, but it gives you a rough idea at least.
