Bad showing at the Bristol Match tour for us. We got the car aligned before the event, the rear was way out, which probably explained why the car was such a handful before. Had some issues getting any front camber though. The most we could get was -1.3 for some reason, so we'll be looking into that after this weekend.
Saturday I kept making big mistakes and never got a run I was happy with. Gave myself a chance at trophies in the morning and although the runs felt better in the afternoon, the time wasn't there. Sunday morning during the challenge runs were much better. First run out was .3 faster than any runs on saturday and I still had a big mistake. Next two runs were another .4 faster, but I still know some spots that I left a good bit of time out there. Ended up 3rd fastest from our AS group, but never got any more runs as the rain and lightning moved in and they decided to cancel the challenge runs. Video from Sunday Morning, go pro didn't charge over night, so no outside view, but I will post one from Saturday once it uploads. Hoping for some better results during the champ tour

Well Champ tour was pretty much the same. Bad day 1, better (but still not great) day 2. Car feels great in slaloms or quick transitions, but in the sweepers and offsets I can definitely feel the lack of front camber.

Great looking courses!
What camber can you get up front? |

We were only able to get -1.3 on each side. I've seen other 1LEs get up to -2.5 or so

Yea I think we're definitely giving up some time with our current alignment. Hopefully we can get it figured out before the next local and I can see how I stack up against some of the other AS guys in our region

Sorry you didn't get the results you hoped for...and slightly glad...
I had a terrible time at the RSW Match Tour (dead last in AS), but did much better at RSW ProSolo only a few days later with no changes to the car (mid-pack). After much crying in my adult beverage with some understanding competitors (including guys who were KILLING it in AS and CAM with the 1LE), I really am starting to be a believer in the 305sq setup. At least for AutoX. At a local (Orlando) event this weekend I was good enough for a 2nd place finish (beat my co-driver). Competition included a C5Z (RE71s) and Lotus Elise (RE71s). We are still on stock G3's.

Yea, we will probably make the change to the 305s next year, or maybe BFGs if they ever decide to make a tire that we could use. Between the 295s and the handicapped alignment I have enough things to blame other than my driving lol Also, on the drive home, realized I would have edged out the win in CAMC for the champ tour.. should just run there haha

Is that what she likes to be called?
Just don't tell her that the others in AS aren't thick... "curvy" like her. |

BTW - That was some great driving. I hope you keep running your 1LE. Between you, Greg and Terry, it's awesome to have so much talent running locally.
