Changed the rear diff fluid at 4400 miles with ACDelco dexron 75w-90 from the dealer. Didn't find any metal at all but on the plugs was literal black sludge. It was the consistency of calking. Fluid was black as well. For $58 to me was well worth it and super easy. I couldn't find the torque specs for the plugs so I did 20ft/lbs.

Also asked the parts guy at the dealer how much the newly released gm intake was...$540, not including NY tax. Thank god for thatgmpartsguy, what a rip off at the dealer.

got my OEM ZL1 spoiler and ACS ZL1 side rockers back from paint and installed them.

its hard to see the rockers. I need to take better pics tomorrow in the sun.
I'm still undecided on the ZL1 spoiler. I will eventually replace it with the ACS spoiler after I finish up some other work I'm getting done.

Do the rockers change how you get in and out of the car? Was wondering if they stick out too much as to interfere

That black sludge is finely ground metal and is why it stuck to the magnet. Mine had it as well at 1500 miles. I first thought they put a heavy grease on the ends of the plugs to catch the metal. I will probably do it again at 5000. BTW I got my fluid at Amazon. They also sell the pump for $9 that fits on the GM bottle.

Today went to start my car and what do you know....Click, click, click ect. Battery dead. Jump started it, ran it for a while and back to normal so far. Gonna have to see if my battery is bad or what. Roadside assistance came in 20 minutes which helped but leaves me to wonder now WTF after only 17 months.

Happened to me exactly like that. Just once. But battery was flat. Replaced the battery , never a problem again however now the old batt is showing it's in perfect shape, after a load and voltage test. So I'm at a loss.....
