Ok, heregoes my CHMSL install.....

...... cleaning all the "gunk" off, sorry no pics of that.

.....and I missed getting a pic of placing it back in.

Part 4 (Result)

All in all not a bad installation. The cleaning took the longest. I was really apprehensive about spraying the adhesive remover too much.

Hey Ric,
How did you remove the tail lamp? Pushing it from the inside.? Or pulling it from the outside.

All from the outside. Used a plastic panel removal tool to break the foam seal around it. Kept working around it until it was loose. Was VERY careful not to scratch anything. The foam seal basically destroys itself upon removal, and thus the reason for having to cleanup what remains. The new fixture has its own foam seal already in place. That foam gasket is how it's held in place in the deck lid. Make sure you have the new fixture connected (and tested) before pushing it in place.

Then they were added to a black frame from Walmart.

I also decided to paint the attaching screws black to match the frame (not shown in this photo)
