So, I bought from the same place - 2 cars in 1 day. The Sonic has the frame still, but the FIFTY has a custom. I don't want to advertise for them since I spent 9 hours there, 3 of it fighting the trade-in they low-balled me so badly on. I assume you dealt with Dennis Vaughn who does Camaros and Vettes?

Nah some other jackasses. They charged me few extra hundred bucks in dealer fees than my prior Camaro purchase, they knew I was hungry for the 6th gen, I factory ordered it through them back in feb of last year. I had a rebate, but they still find ways to get you.

Yes, I HATE when the Dealers place their "logos" on the vehicles. Especially when they are stickers! License plates covers are easily swapped out. My last several vehicles I specifically requested no Dealer advertising be laced on the vehicle(s). They were really good with the request, and no logo's, stickers, plate covers.....

I got mine at Best Chevrolet in New Orleans (worked with Shadi, a Camaro specialist salesman, and Jodi, the sales manager). Using the MyChevrolet app, I was able to see that it was en route to the dealership on 3/1. I caught up with the car hauler on his last stop before dropping off my car. I followed him to the dealership and watched as they unloaded my car.

I waited all day (6 hours) as they swapped the brakes, emblems, and other dealer-installed items. I specifically instructed them to not put any dealership stickers on it or wash/detail the car.

Did I get a good price on it? Sure, I guess. I had a supplier pricing code, so that's what I got it for. I got murdered on my trade-in, but more because my G8 had 172k miles on it. I could have gotten over $10k by selling it myself. But, I'd had it on the market for 3 months, and no bites. Just couldn't find the right person who understood that almost all the wear parts (engine internals, cooling system, A/C, bushings, brake calipers, transmission, shocks, springs, etc.) had been replaced or rebuilt in the last 40k miles. They gave me $5500 for it, which was probably $500-$1000 more than I could have gotten at a consignment lot. But, it was worth it to have money-in-hand and not have the hassle of going that route.

Finally got me Painted Calipers (TPH Coating), ACS rockers, OEM splitter and sema grille installed. Im pretty happy with how it turned out!

Dropped it off for the A8 auto TSB. Tech broke a unrelated line that is apparently on back order. Now I'm driving a stripped down Cruze so not entirely happpy today hahaha.
