Not today but past couple of days just small aesthetic mods. Painted the engine cover and plasti-dipped the bowties black.

Installed a REAL cargo net

Didn't like the poor excuse for a cargo net that came with the car.

I bought one from an online auction for $8; it measures 36 x 12.

It didn't come with mounting hooks so I designed and 3D printed my own in black ABS.

The top of the net mounts where the two plastic pins are in the trunk liners.

The bottom hooks I mounted in the floor lid just forward of the two cutouts for lifting up the lid.

I'm satisfied!

Red Lug Nuts

Just looking to put some contrast in the wheels.

I designed and 3D printed caps to go over the stock lug nuts, just press on, pull off.

I'm not sure if it should be a deeper, brighter red.

Comfort for my dog

I have a black interior and a small light tan dog, so shedding is a problem.

Plus, when I let her ride in the front seat, she can [too easily] press on the mode button and I suddenly go from Touring to Ice/Snow - not good.

I like the fold down seat, so I hooked a short leash to the latch bar, and then used velcro to hold a bed for her.

When she is not with me, I fold up the seat, and the bed, leash and dog hairs all disappear into the trunk.

There are many places that sell them. I got mine here:

Easy replacement for the original. Snaps right on.

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.
