Buying accessories Online

Hey guys,

I was hoping to get some advice when it comes to buying accessories from online vendors. I'm always looking for the best deal and when it comes to prices, Chevy.com is usually the most expensive. I understand buying from them will give you the right part you're looking for but has anyone had success buying parts from other cheaper vendors? I should mention I'm specifically looking at the illuminated bow tie and the Spear Stripe Decals. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just google oem gm parts (or similar), don't pay full price from Chevy.

I get part numbers off gmpartsdirect or something similar then search google for the part number until I find the best deal from a reputable vendor. Usually I end up purchasing my parts from eBay as it is usually the cheapest price shipped. Sometimes from amazon. Most of the businesses that are sponsors also have ebay and amazon stores.

Phastek Performance is your best bet for a complete one stop shop for Camaro Parts.

Same here.

Also Rock Auto has GM parts- and good equivalents. They are great and you receive the parts usually ahead of the projected delivery date. Anything other than GM I shop around, read reviews and review this forum.

And then research the vendor. Reputation, customer service, and after sale support are just as, if not more important than price.
