Well, took over a year but curbed up one of my wheels going at near 0 speed.

Funny you mention this, because recently I found out there are two versions of the RS wheels. One is a bright silver, and the other is still the same silver, but with a grey scheme that blends in

Lovely. I think mine were considered grey but i honestly don't know. It was ordered near the end of the model year.

I curbed one of mine a while ago, its a basic silver color. name of color im not sure. I had an old wheel repair friend of mine repair it. I can see if I have his number still.
Funny story I took my car to the dealership months after the fix and the technician ruined the wheel idk how, but I ended up getting a brand new wheel for free.

I have the bright silver wheels. it was a $100 option.

Mine are the base RS wheels.
Sounds like the first car I ever bought was a used Mitsubishi Eclipse. Bought it was some minor scratches and damage to the back bumper. Year after I bought it I got rear ended exactly where the scratches were. Got free bumper out of it.

Good question, I do not know for sure. I think the 5th gen had a bright-ish silver painted wheels. Although, I do not want to give out incorrect information.

Yah ive seen a couple spots with em for sale.
Just trying to decide if it's worth the cost.

Once you get over the sheer annoyance and being so pissed you tend to forget about it.

On my 16 RS wheels, I used Subaru silver touch up paint from Autozone. It matched great. Autozone will let you return touch up paint if you havent used much.
