First full bolt on SS?

Dropped my car off at kooks today for full exhaust. Tb, tb spacer, cold air intake and intake manifold coming soon. I hope to hit 500 rear.

500whp is going to be a stretch for FBO in my opinion but good luck! Mods don't seem to do as much as they used to back in the day with more restrictive exhausts and more restrictive factory tunes.

Will the TB Spacer do any good? I've heard arguments both ways...

Same. I am very curious about this lol.

All those with no tune, you won't hit 500 rwhp. Even with a tune it's a stretch. 460 MAX to the wheels would be my assumption know the LT1. On pump gas 93 and on dynojet (reads higher than a mustang). On e85, yeah it'll hit 500+ on dyno jet and MAYBE on mustang.


Roots supercharge system or procharge is the best way to hit high numbers. When you follow them with other supporting mods which is what you are doing, it'll hit even be higher.

Intake, TB + IM + LT headers + axle back + tune will be around 430-450 (on 93 and depending on mustang or dynojet). E85 will be around 490-510 on dynojet.

Add cams and ported headers to that, you be VERY close if not at 500 on pump gas.

I have no idea how to flip my car. It's really annoying. I messed with it for a while.

I will be tuning it also. A local shop custom made a cai and got near 440 without a tune. Idk how healthy that Dyno was.

I have played with the idea about E85 quite a bit actually and aside from being able to find it I don't see much for cons (and mpg)

The stringray guys have said the tb spacers seem to work (from what I read)

Saw a guy on facebook hit 517 wheel with full bolt ons and cams on pump gas. Its definitely doable.
