All good I’ll leave the 17” tire on the car and run both classes. Thanks.

You can only run one of the main classes since they basically line up back to back after fresh prep on the track.

We have had additional classes such as stock ZL1, M6 street tire and bracket racing but the consensus was to create more open test and tune time so bracket racing is what remains. You can run that in addition to the main class.

Also, since this event is for all Camaros the unlimited class is not just 5th and 6th Gens. Bracket racing is there as well for those with other generations.

I should be able to run as many classes as I qualify for. Why do you guys have to make this so difficult.

If you want the fastest camaros to show up to your event you’ll be more inclusive not exclusive.

Maybe you should be more positive than negative. Sure would help make your suggestions fly, because as I said we are always open to making things better.

Which is why I mentioned prepping the track good for the top classes and letting them hit it first. If you think you can hot lap your car around and run 2 then go for it. Once eliminations begin that gets almost impossible and leaves holes in the ladder when folks don't make their spots.

Also, on the inclusive side we have auto crossers doing drags as well and we work them in so they can participate too.

Yeah there may be an issue of being able to come back around in time for your spot in the ladder in the other main class especially as eliminations start shortening the ladder. Can it be done? Sure if it all works out but theres alot of variables that can happen since youl have to line up in your spot in the staging lanes when you come back around.

Jesus i don't miss discussing this logistical nightmare the truth is they put a ton of time and effort into trying to make it work for everyone. I went to CF7 and it wasn't perfect but they listened. i got screwed outta going to CF8 but i will say they do listen they made 2 V6 classes for those guys after a lot of behind the scenes pleading and case building. I'm not sure on the final CF8 numbers but you gotta give them a break they have a lot to do and they do try dadszl1. If your arguement is the fastest camaros and that's it go run those 8s camaros at LSFest. CamaroFest is competitive and fun and made to be a community event not a p€nis size contest.

*cough cough* you’re welcome

I still support the idea of a drag racing 101 class

I like that too and Lingenfelter used to do that part for us. Maybe Livernois or GPI or Texas Speed will step up this year and take that on.

We will definitely assemble some folks to teach the new comers.

Hopefully Merc will be down there as well.
