ATI pin kit

Just reading over the ATI damper instructions and see they call out the ATI crank pin kit. Is this something that is needed for our ZL1? Or is that for other engines??

pin kit in an old school LS. It is needed because the crank did not include a keyway and the balancer could potentially slip on the crank snout. They included a jig to bolt to the crank and bit. Place a small cylinder of metal and done. The cylinder engages both the crank and balancer.
