SM10's and 305 30 19 SQUARE set up

OK Here are some pics of SM10's along with some pics of the actual weight of the SM10 with MS 4S 305 30 19 mounted including TPS sensors (53.4 pounds). Another pic shows the STOCK 2019 SS 20 x 9.5 wheel and MS 4S 285 35 20 mounted WITH TPS sensor (55.8 pounds) and ALSO the front Stock SS wheel 20 x 8.5 and GY 245 40 20's with TPS sensors (55 pounds).

Notes: the setup you see DOES NOT require a 5MM spacer because part of the strut mount was ground down about 6MM to allow for proper clearance. Negative camber is 1.5 degrees on EACH wheel and that for the most part eliminated the top tire poke (see pics).

The suspension is STOCK SS WITHOUT MAG RIDE. Wheel gap is roughly 2 inches currently which will be reduced to roughly 1.25 inches when the SG3 suspension is installed. This is the WIDEST rotatable combination that can be run currently on an SS. Ground clearance is roughly 6.5 inches in FRONT of the rear wheels and 5 inches in the BACK of the front wheels.

The 305 30 19 tires mounted on the 19 x 10.5 rims give you roughly 11.5 inches of rubber on the ground (section width is of course wider to the tune of about 12 inches). It is doubtful you could run a wider tire on the front without having alot of top tire poke regardless of how much negative camber you used.

Black gorilla locks were used and the stock APEX wheel cap was painted a satin black to match wheel. A big shout out to AMP (clearancing), APEX (quick delivery and superb support) and DISCOUNT TIRE (no installation damage).

I added the last pic showing where AMP modded the strut to get the necessary clearance. It doesnt take much here about 6MM.

Arc-8 in 19x11 camaro spec. I had to use a 3mm space in the front to clear the mag strut because I already had camber maxed at the strut and some more with plates (3* total). Kinda surprised at how I set the rears are, might have gone with the 12s if I had known.

If you refer to the MICHELIN website the recommended wheel size range to run with a 305 30 19 tire is 10.5 to 11.5 inches. Having said that it is not uncommon for people to run a half inch narrower or wider than recommended rim without issues.

It is possible yes, but to be honest I wouldn't simply because there are enough 325 tires available that fit well on the 12" wide wheel. You'd just be carrying around a little extra weight running a 305/12" combo vs 305/11".

Yes they will! In fact, we just had Woman Driven put a set on her ZL1 1LE this past weekend.

18x11" ET25 front and rear, 1/2" spacer with extended studs up front for strut clearance. Wrapped in 305/680 Pirelli DH slicks
