Belt size chart.

I've done some looking around for information on belt sizing and I cant seem to find a bunch of info on it. Weapon X says you can call them and and they will get the right belt for your combo, but what about the people that need something sooner then ordering from an online source. Am I overlooking something? Can we get a resource together?

What size is the stock belt?
Upper pulley only combos? I've heard some can use the factory belt?
Lower only combos?
Uppers with Lower combos?

What do you guys think?

I'm doing a 2.175 upper and I'm not sure what belt I need.

EDIT:

FROM THE INFORMATION I CAN FIND

STOCK BELT: K080828 WITH HD AND RPM VARIANT AVAILABLE
UPPER PULLEY ONLY (DOWN TO 2.3): CAN USE FACTORY BELT SIZE
UPPER PULLEY ONLY (2.25 TO 2.175): K080817 WITH HD AND RPM VARIANT AVAILABLE (STOCK BELT MAY WORK WITH GRIPTEC PULLEY)

LOWER PULLEY WITH STOCK UPPER ***(IF USING AN ATI BALANCER IT SEEMS HIT OR MISS IF THE (NEW) FACTORY BOLT FITS, RECOMMENDED TO USE PN# 11570163)***

9.06" K080845

LOWER WITH SMALLER UPPER

9.45 WITH 2.175 UPPER K080845

EDELBROCK eForce 2650 and stock lower

3.25" with a 2175 belt, K080855HD
3.00" with a 2155 belt, K080850HD
2.75" with a 2141 belt, K080842HD

LETS KEEP THIS INFO GOING, IF YOU HAVE A LOWER ONLY COMBO/UPPER LOWER COMBO AND KNOW WHAT BELT YOUR CAR USES LETS POST IT UP!

I can’t answer all of your belt questions but I can tell you that I’m running a 2.175upper/stock lower. I use the oem belt. The tensioner still holds the belt nice and tight. 0 slip with my griptec and car is making 15lbs.

This would be a good stickey. I'll post info for various Maggie 2300, stock lower combos when I get home this evening and check my belt stash.
Greg, when I called Magnuson a year or so back to ask what belt to use with my 85mm pulley, they said they didn't know as their kit does not come with that size pulley. They should be ashamed of themselves lol!

I will do my best to update as everyone posts

This is good to hear, I will try the factory belt on my setup once I get the upper installed.

Just a quick update, I am currently running a stock belt with a 2.175 upper. Logs show no extreme slip but I do have downward trend a couple KPA. Going to put a smaller belt on just for giggles and see.

Switched to K080817 from the stock belt on a 2.175 Griptec upper pulley, no difference in boost, guess the stock belt was working great!

I would say it greatly depends on the intake and TB size to what pulley combo.. I picked up 40 plus hp with a 103 and 5 inch intake, then 100 plus with porting and a 112mm tb... If you have the fuel you can run 9 or 10 lower and 2.75 upper if your just on lt4 fuel parts with a cam lobe you should look at this article..

https://www.lsxmag.com/tech-stories/...rger-on-a-zl1/

it should say exactly what combo they had on the car and finished up with.. I talked to there tuner Howard who is pretty damn good but a major AZZ and a 9.1 was used for a lower(15%) and 3.25 is what they ended with.

I've also seen 8.8 with 3.00 inch lower do about the same.

I would think on 93 octane, a cam with a 38% lobe, Lt4 fuel parts and some type of aux pump either of the pulley combos will work. Adding some E might even be okay..

To do full E85 and be 900 plus, Brandon at Lingenfelter told me the following.

Fore or return style pump that can do 80 psi with no pressure drop under load with a 1/2 fuel supply line(-8AN) running to there Hi-Flow Check valve...
Cam fuel lobe of 42%
LPE Big Bore Pump
LPE Plus 30/45% injectors

A lot people skimp on some of these steps like a dsx pump instead of a return style setup, or no larger fuel line, or a smaller fuel lobe.. They end up getting mad and selling there LPE parts. Its a good system but it has to be done this way..
