Got my new ZL1..Just in Time..

I ordered my 2020 ZL1 November 31st last year and got the text it was at the dealer 250kms away on Monday. I think I got super lucky that it got built before the shutdown.

Brought her home Tuesday and in the garage out of the cold. Told the dealer I wanted it as landed I.E. No wash, No removing anything other than front spring spacers and pdi.

Took her for a quick run today and its nice to have a ZL1 again after selling my 2012 last year..

It feels bigger inside to me that the 5th gen but it has been 6 months since I was in my 5th gen (Back seat aside). I really like the interior and interior upgrades like lighting. Totally useless but cool...

Rearview mirror is also interesting. I am a mirror driver being I drive heavy trucks as part of my business. I only put 40k on it today and it was only 10c but had to take her out..

One of the first things I checked was the hand built engine plaque which I do have and glad I do. Here is a pic or 2..

Congrats I was not so lucky. My car made it to 3000 status scheduled for production and then they shut down the day after. Right now I am guessing maybe August if I am lucky. Sounds like GM has no plans to open up anytime soon.

I rarely see another ZL1. Whether 5th or 6th Gen. Really rare. I’m just outside Hamilton

Welcome to Ontario ZL1 club for sure. We are definitely a rare breed up here so enjoy. You will find yourself wanting to drive the car with no destination.

The first mod you should make is move the license plate. It looks cleaner and will allow more air flow. Here is the link;

P.S. Make sure to change the oil after you reach 1000km's.

Congrats, I love em in white too. We don't see to many. When it's ready for some mods hit us up. We've been doing some big things with the LT4 platform.
