I lived in Mauston, worked in Elroy, all the roads in that area are nice driving roads. I had a Ford Probe GT at the time, was a fun little vehicle.

Thanks! Fun trip and I plan to do it again in the Spring or Early Summer.

Was there for the Camaro Rally and went in the aggressive group. Not really any grab handles for a passenger. She was on then verge of loosing her breakfast. I swear we had to of set a record time down the Tail as a group. Very fun time and alot of cool people. Highly recommend this event. This event has leaders and a tail and are very familiar with this area.

Interestingly, everyone criticizing the Camaro keeps regurgitating the visibility meme... but nobody ever mentions the lack of an "oh, shit" handle, which, unlike visibility, can be a real problem when you carry a passenger, just as Corey described

Yes, there are a lot of nice roads here. I used to run all-day Camaro & Firebird spring and fall cruises and I've run a lot of them. Which is probably why I want to try a different area!

Totally understand. I'm in Michigan, rather flat and boring here. I regularly travel to southern Ohio and into W.Va for fun twisty roads.

My girl is never a huge fan of this fact. Honestly I feel there should be that handle in every vehicle. That’s just me. I think that’s what kills her when I decide to drive a little. She can’t hold on to anything, at least I get the wheel!

Edit: she said she usually just grabs the door

Running the Tail is not about high speed runs. So who cares if you never see third or fourth gear. Those gears will come in handy on the Foothills Skyway, Cherohola, and Moonshiner 28.

TotD is a great drive with the top down. I agree I never got past 3rd gear while on that section.
