Yall go build one and let me know what it costs, not to mention how long it takes. If it doesn't sell then no skin off my back. Appreciate the responses.

I know what I have in mine and I dont have a built trans or ZL1 rear or LSX block. We make very similar power numbers. I'd guess the asking price is probably what you have in it in parts.

Seriously, cars like this are a hard sell, you never get your money back. If you're serious about selling it, it would be easier if you returned it to stock and sold everything else. To sell this car at this price with the mileage you are looking for literally the perfect buyer who wants exactly this.

Mods give cars zero value to the normal person. Good luck with the sale, cool build.

The asking price is actually less than what I have in it. If you built this car you would spend much more. As you said you don't get all your money back in these types of builds. I have always fully understood that anytime I've sold one. You are absolutely correct on your other points too. It is a hard sell and needs a certain buyer. As for the mods piece you are correct again and why this car is listed on an enthusiast forum and not on autotrader or traded into carmax. This isn't for normal people and I would hesitate to sell it to anyone who didn't have experience in a car at this power level. It's not exactly a bolt-on car either. I see posts all the time asking what does it take to make this power safely or at all. Including one of the guys who finds this listing funny. When I started this build I didn't know either. I'm well aware now there are much cheaper ways to get to 800whp, but you wont be doing it for long. I have put alot of time(which Ill never get back) and money(wont get all that back either) into this car to make it what it is. The other guys making comments just show me that they have no clue and should probably stick to looking at stock cars and sharing their expert opinions on other listings they have no intention on buying. I will also mention the car can do more than 800 but I haven't found any compelling reason to turn it up since I only drive it on the street. At the end of the day, I do appreciate the responses whether its "lol" or "yea man, its gonna take you a while to sell this thing". It gives me perspective and brings attention to the thread. I can tell you I'm not going to give away a fully built car for the price of a stock one because someone thinks I should or holds the opinion mods don't add value. Thank you for wishing me luck and your compliment on the build, again I do appreciate it.

This is the key point to take away, A certain buyer is out there and looking for a Turn Key rocket ship. It's likely gonna take a bit of time, and to be fair, If this was mine and didn't need to move it, I would be the same.

GLWS.

Price is a bit high IMO. I have a similar build that i am considering selling with a forged 408, agp 62s, monster triple clutch, zl1 rear, triple pumps, 1600cc injectors, e85. Its a 2014 1LE with around 65k miles. Made around 1100whp. About 1k miles on the build. I would ask about $36k-$38k for mine.

Just an FYI. Nice car though.

Thank you, I appreciate some actual feedback and perspective. I did just go back and add it up and unfortunately for me I am at over 37k in parts. So lets say I just eat the price of the car and all the labor that's where I'm at. Seeing what others are expecting for theirs that seems to be more inline with what it might actually sell for. I think I just need to keep it and turn boost up to see what 1000whp is like or swing motor into something else.

In terms of motor, clutch, trans, rear yea should be fine. I'll probably upgrade turbos and put the twin pump in most likely if I keep motor in this car. Most this car did on dyno was 850hp at 4k but cut it there as clutch was only rated at 800hp at the time. It ended up getting smoked anyway later. Never doing another Kevlar clutch.

I don't think he actually has a 5th gen (or one worth anything). I imagine by his post history he scours this sub forum looking for a car and gets mad at everyone for the prices not being what he wants lol.

I mean a few months ago you were asking what it takes to get 700-800hp. Then the 27 post you have, about 20 of them are dumping on people's cars and prices, much like this thread. So it's an easy assumption to make since you contribute next to nothing but negativity.

We come across accounts like yours time to time, and they all end the same way. I suggest mods delete all these posts so the OP can go on with his for sale thread.
