Keep me posted on this. We've sold a LOT of these already and have had nothing but positive feedback. We want to know the good and bad so be sure to update us, please.

What he said. Swapping the stock TB back is a good way to test it. Its 30 or below here and our car fires right up like it did with the OE unit.

I have mine incoming and will be dyno testing it before and after. I will also be checking out BBK's design as they see all sorts of issues with the stock butterfly valve not offering direct flow for the air.

Quick update :

I swapped the original TB back and checked and double checked that everything was tight and secure. Even though it wasn't a true cold start, she was immediately responsive and sounded authoritative. a definite improvement. Ill do a true cold start test in the morning and post another update

Are you going to try installing the ported TB again one more time?

Bolted up a V-Max ported unit on 01/25/16, So far no driveability issues, i.e. surging, erratic idle. Very nice cnc work on the tb, reminds me of Mark Shaner's units from back in the LS1 days. No install instructions included in my box either.

Took the car out on a cool night and seemed to pull nicely through the rpms. Include pic, vmax on right.

What was dissapointing was the amount of oil I found on stock unit and inside the intake manifold. Didn't want to jump on the catch-can hype but it's now looking like a good investment.

Best regards to all members,
-Mike Fdz.

Took mine on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway last night (01/31/16) for the "Laps for Charity". The Engine noise sounds much better than stock. Performed well (through 8 laps) and still no CEL's. JP... I'll be putting my core back in the mail tomorrow... I hope it's not to late as I didn't receive your Throttle Body until 01/25/16.
