How reliable IS GM authority?

I'm new around here and the only "sources" I can find talking about production being cut short(er) is from GM authority who just has "insider sources familiar with the matter" as their source. Any other articles reference GMA as their source.

I ask because I've ordered a 3LT and I'm praying it gets picked up but if the 19th comes and I don't get my allocation then go hunting for something I'd settle for only to find out after I buy it GM is still sending out allocations and I missed my chance to get my specific wanted car I'll be pissed.

i won’t comment on the reliability of GM Authority, but I will say they’re often not very timely. Today - a week before ordering is cut off - they posted a story revealing the 2024 Camaro colors….

News breaks here first on the forum by credible folks, and then I notice GM authority basically uses this info and calls it "inside sources" a few days later.. in the end they're still pretty accurate, but often slow.

GM Authority is precisely as accurate and reliable as wherever they copy/paste their articles from.
