75/90 question and M6 trans fluid

I have a bunch of Lucas Synthetic 75 90 sitting around is it worth using it and the GM additive 88900330 or jsut buying the GM rear diff oil with the additive in it all ready..

Also trans fluid Tr6060.. Better shifts with RP Syncromax, Redline DT4, of Amsoil?

I prefer RP Syncromax for the trans, GM rear diff oil hands down as well.

I ended up getting the GM oil w additive from Summit for 18.40 they matched ebay..

The Lucas synthetic has additive already in it. Just been through this on my trucks g80. If you still want to use it, how much additive is in there?

your trucks G80 is a locker not limited slip you dont need any additive.

I drained it and added gm fluid. The Lucas bottle doesn’t say friction modifier on it like the other brands but saw it on the spec sheet after I put it in, called them and they confirmed

Got both cars M6 trans fluid changed and both differentials.

The zl1 differential had 27,000 miles and looked brand new coming out with hardly any metal on the the plugs.

The SS on the other hand was black with tons of metal it had been changed at 36k and now 48k

Also we had the SS axel repaired under warranty it looks like they reused the short bolts since I can't see the ends of the bolts sticking out.

On the Zl1 the bolts almost touch the diff housing.
