gen6mike's 8.40@162.88-2650 Maggie/VIdeo
I've been getting texts of Mikes testing with his Gen6 Camaro. His first pass was an 8.61@159 and was having problems with the throttle closing 4/5 shift. Guess he worked that out as he made the 8.40@162.88 with his Magnuson 2650r Heartbreaker. Fastest pass by any Gen6 Camaro that we know of. Sean from Speed Engineering also ran 8.48@159 but had some issues with the throttle closing also with his 2650r Heartbreaker. No port injection? Nope

Hopefully he can post up the slips. I think he went 5.39@130 1/8 mile. Pretty stellar also.

I forgot to mention he had another pass of 8.53@159. He said they were pretty conservative on the timing as this was new motor fresh off the dyno last night.

I know they tore the other motor down and cylinders were out of round so they sleeved it.

Out of round? good grief how much cylinder pressure? I have never seen a 2650 make more than 25psi.. I know some others have 2650's going on so we should see similar numbers soon.

Yep, he might be running 20psi, don't think it was more then that. I've heard others say theirs was out of round when they were replacing pistons. Usually a 5 thou overbore will take care of that or maybe less.
