There is a technical bulletin that permits the use of this filter on the LT1, however, the Bypass valve has a higher setting than the PF64, which is the "Standard". PF64 has a 22 PSI bypass threshold, while the UPF has something over 40.
However, as long as the filter does not get clogged up (which is VERY unlikely in the case of frequent and proper oil changes), then this threshold should not matter much.
In terms of filteration qualities, the material is similar to the PF64 "445" Part#(housing of the UPF is slightly sturdier)
The UPF costs a lot more though...

Home Depot has the UPFs for only 8.64/ea with free shipping for an order of 6 or more. That's only $3/ea more than the PF64 at Walmart.

How do you get the coupon? About to make the purchase and I'd like a $10 savings.

So this deal is for 12 qts of Mobile 1 with a filter for $105 right? I'm missing something here because I buy Mobil 1 (5-30) in 5qt containers for $26 @ my local Walmart. I buy Wix filters at my auto parts store for $6. So I spend around $60 for 10qts of Mobil 1 plus an oil filter for my oil changes. Yes, I know the deal in this thread is for 12 qts and not 10 and it's not the ESP stuff. But still, it seems like going to Walmart is a much cheaper option than what's talked about in this thread.

If you don't want the 0w-40 ESP oil, the 5W-30 can be purchased for much less as you've pointed out. If you track your car though, the 0w-40 may save you from changing your oil to the track supplement recommendation, which would add cost.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for my Speedway order...

Finally received an e-mail stating it was shipping so a month. Good thing I sort of forgot about this one or else I probably would have canceled and got my $$ back by now.

Amazon has its lowest price ever and it includes prime shipping. So with my prime credit card, I also get 5% cashback/off.

So that is $94.56 before tax and shipping. PF64 is $3.08 and prime as well. So you can get 12 qts and an oil filter for about $104.73 after tax and shipping (If you have Amazon Prime).
