Shark fin Antenna (check yours)

My Shark fin Antenna is lose. I pulled the headliner down turned the bolt as much as it could go and it’s still lose. It won’t tighten anymore. Any ideas ? Gaskets ? Something I could use as a better seal? It’s only like a quarter inch gap or less.

1/4" gap sounds huge!

When you say pull down the headliner, did you just pull from the rear of the headliner or took panels apart to drop the whole headliner?
