You can line up dead last on the grid, but eventually you may get the fast front cars catch you.

Before I left my house, I set all 4 tires to 29 psi.

Here's the pressures while at the track:

Here's a few laps from my last session. Got out early and had a good bit of open track. Oh-s**t moment around 4:15, turned into 17 too early, completely screwed up 18.

Was nice meeting everyone, I should be there in September.

I'm likely going to the September one also...For those without PDR are you using cameras or phones to record? I don't own a camera but I do have a phone...

I have a GoPro Hero 4 Silver and I use an iPhone with Harrys Lap Timer or as in my above video, TrackAddict. I use an external mic for both. For the iPhone, I just use an Apple ear bud with mic foam on both ends of the volume control button. My buddy (CarGuy11 on youtube) says that is where ther mic is. For the GoPro I use another external mic that is mounted above one of the mufflers, tucked up underneath the trunk

I made it back to the track yesterday to work on running the correct lines. I was very conservative with the car, so of course I didn't break any records or anything.

I was very fortunate to have an in-car instructor give me some pointers.

Here's the meaningful laps from the last session (no instructor). I think I could have had a couple decent laps if it weren't for traffic.

Ok, I'm officially registered for the September 13th TNiA @ Pitt Race. I registered Intermediate. If you're going let us know, and say what group you'll be running in. Would like to see a decent representation from the Gen5 / 6 cars there!

Will do. My front rotors are near the end of their life due to cracks, hopefully I can finish the season with them.

Here's a video from this past weekend at Pitt Race . I participated in the Northeast Musclecar Challenge. We ran the North Track on day 1 then the other 2 days we autocrossed. I never autocrossed before, but I had fun.

My best on the North Track was a 1:06.1, but in this video I ran 4 consecutive 1:06's all within a tenth of each other, with a .9, .9, .8, and .9.

NICE!! Consistency!! I've never autocrossed either. Always enjoyed the speeds and feel of a track. Wouldn't mind giving the auto x a try though.

LOL, Thanks! I'm diggin the consistency. I'm with you too on loving the track vs autoX, but the autoX was fun, took the wife for a few runs, she enjoyed it/was scared. I have lots to learn on autoX

I booked the September 13th TNiA track day (Intermediate). Unfortunately though, I think I will have to cancel. I have a work obligation the same day.

I also booked the Pitt Race PDE on the 15th, I heard that event may be canceled completely (In which case I'll have my registration moved to the October event).

I'm keeping my eye on the Auto Palace Twilight event on the 26th of September. It's possible that event may be opened up to all makes of cars like it was this month.

Isn't the Auto Palace Twilight a private event?
