Advice on picking right body repair shop

I unfortunately hydroplaned into a cable guard rail Sunday. Mostly front end damage (hood bumper fenders)except the drivers side A pillar. Looking for advice of how to ensure I get the best quality work.

Had a guy hit my new Buick and run off. My body shop sold out to Rocco's in Philly. I had them repair it and it was great. Rocco's is all over.

The cleaner the shop, the better the work. Make sure you get a warranty on work too. Don't cheap out with it.

Gerber did my hail damage and it was a clean shop. I got my car back with brand new scratches. So don’t use Gerber. It’s a roll of the dice. Once the work is done they will let you inspect it and sign some papers. So inspect it good.

The good ones don't need to advertise on the radio or tv.

My suggestion is shop around and find someone who is meticulous on the work they do if Quality is your number 1 concern. There’s a lot of Body shops that do average body work, and some who do outstanding work. But with anything body shop related you usually get what you pay for.

Good Luck, every time I've had body work done it was crap. If you have State Farm they have a list of shops that are rated by satisfied customer ratings. Most are jammed with work and you will have a few weeks wait.
