Thx!!

Ted told me that the Whipple needed fuel mods to support it. The 2300 did not if you stayed in a certain HP range.

The magnuson is more efficient than the whipple for our cars. The new Gen 5 stuff they are doing in the Ford market is really nice unit though. I’m not doing a cam or anything and the goal was 700 so the 2300 for that application better.

Interesting. It use to be that the Roots stuff was inefficient and twin-screws were the way to go.

Pace isn't terribly far from where I live. Do you have a shop in Pace?

Setup made 12 lbs on the dyno. Car made 703 rwhp and 709 rwtq on 93 and NO meth. Fueling looks good here and I will work on timing tables on the street/track. Car will take another 3 degrees easy, but with the fuel limitation of the stock cam I want to inch timing in and watch fuel pressure. Air/fuel was half point rich also, but I’ll clean that up when I get on the street and can watch pressure.

Air temp and MAT temps is where this thing shines. Temps are much more manageable over stock blower. Very minor climb during the dyno pull and recovers well, something the stock blower doesn’t do well on the dyno.

I think the car will make 740 rwhp range with fueling and timing cleaned up. As long as stock fuel system allows it. Lol. With the pulley it’s running I’m not even scratching the surface of what this blower is capable of. Plenty of room to grow!
Great numbers. Thats what am aiming for, 700+whp with low IATs, i use my car for road course.

So i assume with 80mm pulley and voltage booster on E30-E40 (am gonna use vp c85). Do u think it would be sufficient for 700whp?

On any E fuel 700 will be really easy. It was effortless on pump. Lol. This blower is pretty impressive for sure. Temps are amazing compared to my stock blower.

Added update to original post.

UPDATE- Low side starting falling pressure past 700. Commands 73 and fell to 68 psi. Adding JMS voltage booster I got from Ted Jannetty to take care of low side issue. Then back to tweaking.

What do you think you can get to with the voltage booster?

High side will be the next limit at 750-780. I think I’m going to hold up 725 or so for now.

So headers, 103mm, big gulp, low side and 2300. That's still very impressive on pump with those numbers. Please keep us updated, this is an interesting thread.

I was also thinking about going cam, headers ported blower, 103mm and big gulp, low side. I wish I could find what a cam could make by itself in these LT4 motors. I think this route would be more expensive than yours.
