Question MRR M017 or Velgen Classic5 Gunmetal

What would you choose? First pic is my car and the next are of the MRRs and then the Velgens. MRRs are 20x10/11 and Velgens are 20x9/10.5 staggered. I plan to go with 315/35 out back and 275/40 in front.

I love the MRRs, but I keep going back to that simple 5 spoke concave design!

I love the Velgen Classic 5 but I don't think they make them anymore. I was seriously considering them but their website says "retired". Venders may have some available though. If I get a second set they may be it. If you do find them available please let me know.

They are retired and in short supply, but they have them available for a real good price. I've been talking directly with Velgen and the poll is my last opportunity to avoid buyer's remorse!

Awesome! I may have to pick up a set in silver before they go extinct.

If they are still available and you guys want them, ya better jump on them. Like anything else we might want for our 5th gens, sometimes we wait too long and it's all gone. And if the price is good, why not? You could always have 3 sets of wheels with tires like I do and swap out from time to time just too be "different". lol. The others wheels in this style are quite expensive too, my Ferrada's were 2000 with lugs shipped thru PK Autodesigns, a vendor on here. Great company, and Paul was very helpful.

I emailed Velgen to see what they have available. I also like the rohanna rc7 which have a very concave profile.

You're right about things being scarce on the fifth gens 1JEWLDSSRS. That's the reason I finally started customizing my car. Parts are going to get hard to find. I'm surprised I finally got an anvil spoiler. Was impossible to find when I got the car. I wish I started modding my car when I bought it. It's really fun. Lowering springs next.

Multiple wheel sets will help from getting tired of the current setup. I am eyeing the ferradas. Nice clean look and i want a polished set of wheels.

Yea, the Rohanna's are a very nice wheel too. My Ferrada's are a Silver machine finish/cleared with the chrome lip. 20x10.5 front and 20x11.5 rear with 335/30/20 MPSS. Also there are the Black Diamond BD21's that are a 5 spoke concave wheel as well.. They were more expensive than my Ferrada's were, I think is why I went with them. If you do lower it, I went with the Pfadt 1.25 springs and love them! Have been in the car for 8 years now. Took one of my Camaro buds back then for a ride in mine and let him drive her and he was pleased with the ride and when we got back home, he ordered a set for his 2010 SS...

I looked at the BD21s and they are almost identical to the ferradas.

You fit 335s on your car? I crawled under mine and it looks like they shouldn't be a problem. What's the price difference between a 315 and 335?

Yeah you guys convinced me. I pulled the trigger on the Velgens!

Element wheels has them discounted in stock so that.s another option as well.

What finish did you buy? They look great on the black car on the Velgen site.
