How easy is it to paint match Hyper Blue Metallic

Hello everyone,

I have been looking into doing a ikon motorsport zl1 1le conversion on my RS but have been wondering how well the paint can be matched with the factory hyper blue metallic?

Has anyone done something like this and had any trouble? Has anyone had to repaint a part of their car after an accident to hyper blue?

My question is how much did your shop charge you approximately and how did it come out?

Thank you very much for anyone who can answer my question!

For my AA ZL1 bumper I've been quoted from $150 to $350 to paint match Silver Ice

That's not bad to what I was expecting. Let me know how close the paint match came out please!

I'm lucky there is an amazingly talented painter at my local body shop. He made it look pretty easy matching the paint up. Here is the front fascia extension he painted. I will post more pics of the ZL1 side skirts I had body color matched tomorrow.

I'm about to have my door replaced and painted after a piece of metal hit it while driving on the freeway. All the places i've taken it said they will have to blend the fender and quarter panel so the paint matches and you can't tell the difference.

Painter that did my hood says it wasnt hard. Gave him the paint code and he told me that when he orders paint to match, some of them have more variations of the same paint code. The Hyper blue doesn't. I gave him the hood and he painted it with what he order, we didnt test it or anything. I went back a few days later and it was perfect match.

Man that looks clean! How did you get the blue accents on the engine cover and the Roto Fab logo? Like the blue tubing (on the catch can?) - is that an option when ordering?
