Tire update?

I put MPS4S on the car and definitely prefer the Goodyear's. I have a flat tire and found a set of new 2015 Goodyear's for half off (reputable tire distributor).
I recall reading that the Goodyear's are Camaro 1LE specific which means these are not the same considering they were made before the car was even released, right?
Does anyone know the difference between the 2015 and 2018 tires?

I wouldn't buy 4 year old (going on 5) performance tires, even at 1/2 price even if they were the right tires.

Tires age out, especially high performance tires. At 4-5 years, they're already at the end of their lifespan, at least if you want them to do more than hold up the car.

The Experts at Tire Rack have no issue selling 5-7 year old tires.

The tires in question are not inflated tires sitting on a car, waiting to flatspot and crack. Purchased from a reputable dealer (like tirerack, for example), the tires are stacked up, on the sidewall, in a climate controlled environment. I would have no problems ordering high performance tires in such a manner. In fact, I just did exactly that! I just received my "4 year old" tires from Tirerack today... Bitchen deal, killer tires, the less you buy, the more for us...
