Heated/Ventilated seats retrofit

I received a letter from GM stating that the retrofit for my 2022 ZL1 was now available and was instructed to make an appointment with the dealer. I showed up for the appointment and I was told that the part would have to ordered.… Wasted time.
I took the car back when the part was available. After 1/2 a day, I was informed that the car was ready. Before leaving the dealership, I checked the functionality of the seats. The heat/ventilation function was inoperable. Neither of the lights for heat nor cooling were working.
I went back in and was told that they have had this issue only with Camaros.
I waited for them to “undo” the retrofit.
They have no answer at this time as to what the problem is.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

My understanding is that this is a hardware module plus the programming required to enable it. At least that is the case with the parking sensors. I would ask if they programmed the ECU after the install.

I did ask that question. The answer was “yes”
