Flex fuel tuning help

I’m getting my flex fuel sensor and headers installed here soon and taking it to a tuner was wondering if I have to unlock the ecu or ecm for this I’m new to tuning I know getting all that unlocked will make it take a bit longer

Give it to the tuner and let them deal with it.

To answer your question, no. The ECM doesnt need to be unlocked, only licensed which the tuner can handle as part of the tuning process. The TCM does need to be unlocked ahead of time on the 2017+ vehicles if you want it tuned.
