It's settled... Gotta have one these things. Is selling organs still illegal? I got a spare low mileage kidney, meticulously maintained using regular washes with bourbon. Seriously though, I planned on keeping my cam'd goat and just saving up what I'd need down... Not so sure I can wait.

I love my SS 1LE but i would've gotten a GT350 if:

GT350 ~$50K
GT350R ~60K out the door.

they just aren't worth more than that to me personally. i think they look/sound more exotic but the interior just looks so freakin' old i can't get over it. performance wise they're all close enough i don't car as much about that to be honest but i do think the n/a of the SS 1LE (and less weight up front) is a great spot to me. Getting mine for $44k with HUD and fake carbon fiber/lighted inlays is a ridiculous deal so yes... please. not disappointed. my next sports car will probably be either ZL1 1LE or new Porsche GT3 because i think i'd have to go to that level to make a big improvement!

That's outright amazing. Here in Canada one can get a 1LE for about 48G CAD (incl GM and dealer discounts). 350R is DOUBLE that. Even ZL1 is about 20+G less. GM not only produced an amazing car, but also priced it very well (Z/28 lesson learned perhaps?).

That's amazing that the SS 1LE it's at the same level of performance of the expensive GT350R. Great work GM!

I don't get it. Why on MT the ZL1 did more time compared to the prior lap time performed were Randy Pobst tried the ZL1 both in automatic and manual transmission version with much better lap times. Something is very wrong with this last ZL1 results.

This is BS the ZL1 should be the winner that did a much better lap time compared to the GT350R's
