There's a link on the story that lists all the cars that fall under the ignition recall and 2010-2014 camaro is listed.

Camaros do not have an ignition recall. There is a key recall.

The story also says it effects cars built between 2003 and 2010. The link makes no mention of the gift cards.
Anyway they said letters went out last week. Did you get one?

Yes your half right, gm changes out the ignition AND the key.THATS why they keep your car for a short time.

Who told you that? They don't change the ignition switch on the Camaro. They just separate the key from the fob and give you back the fob with a new separate key.

Its all BS, just got daughter a mint 2004 VW Beetle from a dealer, with almost same exact key fob. Never heard of recall for that key?
