No thanks, got a motorcycle for that sort of fun. Also, this would make skip shifting troublesome as well as going into neutral.

Yeah I want to know how you go into neutral as well. I like it and think it would be awesome.

Some people wrote in the comments that it was ~$2400. Not sure if in AUD or USD though. Really expensive but if its worth it to you go ahead.

This is very intriguing especially for the road racers or higher HP guys... I am wondering if I need the clutch to start off initially or not. Curious for more details for sure

This shifter only changes the pattern. It does not make the transmission a true sequential box. Still has synchro rings and bevel cut gears, still need to use the clutch.

I see no performance advantage from this shifter. Seems more like a novelty than anything.

This shifter should provide some advantage for dedicated race cars, straight line or road course, due to shorter throws and no gates to navigate. Dominator from Street Outlaws saw this at SEMA and bought one immediately. Of course on the street, it does not seem very practical.

I think it would definitely help shave a little time at the strip. But I agree, not very practical for daily use. It would be nice to switch out before going, but the install on this would be a huge PITA. Putting a hurst in wasn't too fun. I couldn't imagine trying to fish that huge stick through the shifter hole.

I'm not sure if the hole in the console is big enough (looks like it is), but we have a TR6060... this shifter will work.

I think you'd need to convert from synchros to dog engagement to get the full benefit. You'd also need a custom tune to engage NLS and active rev matching with every gear change or something along those lines... I'm also not sure if there's a dog box kit for our transmissions or how much such a conversion would cost.

I don't think the tune would be necessary...nls is activated at somewhere around 93%throttle or more, and active rev matching would still work fine going one gear at a time, or quickly dropping two.

Stock program works only if the clutch is fully disengaged, while a ratchet shifter and dog box combo's biggest benefit is clutches shifting. I'm sure there's a way to fool the ecu into thinking you pressed the clutch even if you haven't.
