Running wires from under hood to cabin

I've seen mention in several threads about getting wires from the under-hood fuse box into the cabin for various components. Has anyone found a good solution? I was looking at the rubber plug that is at the base of the A pillar just above the top door hinge. It looks like it would allow access behind the kick panel on either side. The plug pops right out and could be cut to pass wires through and then sealed with some silicone. There is some sound deadening material under the fender that could be pushed aside to run wires. Would this be a good solution?

Does the SS have a cover where the V6 has the sound tube or is that just not provisioned at all ? That seems like an ideal spot to send wires if you had access to that opening.

I run stuff from rear under carpet to cabin. There are some body plugs on trunk floor that drilled through. Didn't want wires seen/exposed under hood.

he's asking about under the hood though. Not the trunk.

I'll put the wires in split loom to keep them neat and tied up out of the way. I'm just wanting to find out if this is a good access point.

The SS has the sound tube also. I haven't removed it yet.

That one works good, have it in our 2SS.

P.S. comes out the passenger kick panel

Thanks. That's what I thought but wanted to be sure.

I used the sound tube when wiring in my jammer.
