Massachusetts mandates front plates and the cops are sticklers for it so you'll get pulled over guaranteed. I'm actually looking at a motorized plate retraction for mine. Talked to my shop about it. The kit/parts are only like $160.

But they don't just need to fold it under the front. They've done setups where you slice front bumper, make it retract in (plenty of space there) and look clean and have those cut pieces all match up when the plate is retracted so you can't even tell there is a front plate at all:

approx. $1,000.

Still trying to decide if it is worth it.

And I've seen those setups in person before. They are pretty badass.

LOL. Yup, you want to spend money to hide your plate and cut your bumper, but want to comment on me spending 2 minutes erasing my plate online. Enjoy your idea of "cool ideas" and I'll enjoy my layer of secrecy.

I don't believe they make a fifty version of the trunk separator. I'd imagine that would be a custom piece.

Guilty!. I've blurred out my tag when I posted some pics only because I saw everyone else doing it and figured there must be some good reason. I don't think I'll bother with that anymore!. I researched it and apparently it dates back to the days when people could easily look up your home address with the tag number. But ever since the DPPA (Drivers Privacy Protection Act) was put into place that's no longer the case. I think many people just mimic what they see others doing and don't question it.

So with that!. MY TAG in your face! That reminds me I gotta install my Phasetek 3rd brake light blackout with the "Fifty" cut out today.

It appears that the "U" shaped ones are held on by 3 or 4 allen cap screws that would be about impossible to access without removing the grill. Can't tell about the flat ones under the lights.

Ok so I got the 3rd "Fifty" brake light blackout installed. While I was doing that I decided to blackout the bumper reflectors with the same film I used for the front and rear side markers. I also blacked out my chevy emblem.

The only thing not pictured was just the chrome tag frame. That is drying as I type this.
