I don't understand drag racing that car... only because in this day and age every internet warrior will HERP DERP all over it for not being "that" much faster than a new SS.
Taking that car to the drag strip is like taking Kate Upton anywhere but the bedroom. That car is meant to get F***ed hard on a road circuit, or twisty roads. Sorry, my mind wandered over to Kate Upton again... Last edited by TheSpectre; 11-23-2015 at 07:50 PM. |

Yup 1.77 60ft time. I've seen scat packs on stock tires hook up better than that lol.

Really? You have proof of that? There must be 8 Scat Packs and SRT-8's in my car club, and I have yet to see a 60' time better then that on street tires, or for that matter better then mid 1.8's. The 12.2 and 12.4 times Hot Rod ran with new SS Camaros I read had 1.9 and 2.0 60's. That's decent on a run flat street tire. 1.77 60' time on any street tire is fantastic. Hellcats on drag radials don't do all that much better. Late model 5.0 Mustangs with autos and converters usually 60' in the mid 1.6 range on a tire, including my car. You will not see a GT350 do much better then a 1.7. I spend two nights a month, nearly all year at the drag strip and have seen it all. I have drag racing in my blood, no joke lol.
