I want a stiff suspension.

When I get ready to order my Camaro I want the stiffest suspension setup from the factory. Which is my best option: MRC? Lowering springs? Standard? I'm used to a 2002 BMW M5 stiff suspension from the factory so I want it to be stiffer or tighter than a M5.

MRC will allow you to adjust it to your liking. Will it be super stiff? Not sure....

Overall the frame is stiffer, the option of MRC gives you flexibility. But everyone has a different opinion on what is stiff and what is loose.

But I can promise your stif BMW isn't as stiff as the day you got it.

One of the GM guys from the #FNR tour said the stock SS suspension is somewhere between the MRC's "Sport" and "Track" settings, if I recall correctly.

Maybe one of the members going could try and pin them down again on this?

The lowering kit is probably going to be the stiffest you can get from the factory. It includes both stiffer springs and stiffer shocks. MRC is a variable stiffness shock, so it does nothing to change the spring rate.

But ... how do you know that a regular SS doesn't have a stiffer ride than your M5 already? I'd try and get a test drive before spending extra money on something that I might not need to.

Going with the lowering kit on mine no matter how stiff it rides. Looks faster, meaner, better, etc. etc. with the lower stance.................

Thanks. If I decide to not go with a lowering kit or MRC I can always put aftermarket coil overs or springs and shocks.
