CTS4V Blackwing Rear Brake Scoops
I debated where to post this, but this is likely only something that only someone who tracks their car would care about...
I was watching the video review linked below of the CTS4V Blackwing and at the 7:59 mark, it shows the rear suspension with what appear to be scoops for the rear brakes. Given that I believe the suspension is relatively unchanged from the first gen Alpha platform, I wonder if these would fit the Camaro? Granted, overheating rear brakes isn't a big problem with the Camaro, but extra cooling never hurts. Just planting the seed for now. I'll dig into it a bit further as I have time, unless someone else beats me to it. So far, I've learned they only come on cars without the carbon-ceramic rotors. Nigel |

I have a CT4-V Blackwing (which is not available with carbon ceramic brakes which are an option on the CT5-V Blackwing) as well as my ZLE. I can take some pics of them, scan the installation sheet and give any dimensions etc. anyone would like. They come in the trunk. They are not installed on the car from the factory.

Here are the PN's that I could find. The rears appear to use M5 screws. Don't think the Camaro has the tapped holes for them

is that a stamped arm? Could be as easy as a drill and rivnut to get the job done.

There are also larger scoops at the front. They are different than the big non-SS 1LE scoops.

Video of the CT5 front brake scoops. Both the CT4 and CT5 front scoops look different than each other and they both appear different than anything available on a Camaro

The fronts do appear to closer in size to the Camaro track deflectors, but much more heavily sculpted. Might be worth picking up a set for side by side comparison. Nigel |

It looks like the CT4-V Blackwing's rear calipers (pictured below) are a little over 135° away from the Camaro's placement (with the parking brake caliper in the same location as the Camaro's regular caliper) and the CT5-V Blackwing's are a little over 45° away so idk if the airflow will end up in the right place on the Camaro but some temperature paint or stickers on the calipers with a before/after test could answer that question.
