There is a torque limit vs gear table that the TCM references to limit throttle until X rpm. So you can mat the peddle to the floor and the Throttle is not going to open all the way. It slowly opens from 50-70% on the hit then gradually opens all the way by 6k rpm. As you add mods and increase power it only makes it worse until you can edit this table.
On my brother's A10 ZL1 the TCM was limiting the throttle to 56% on the hit from any gear between 1-4. The TCM file is almost identical between 10l90 and 80.

I'm must not sure how much I'm racing this year so don't know if its worth buying that new TCM although we sure made a big change last year with my A8 that really made a difference. I don't know if HP tuners is able to unlock or if I'd still have to order from Houston Speed.

I can echo the lazy feel. If the throttle is open all the way in the scanner, would that confirm the tcm is not limiting?
I just got the wideband in on my car on Saturday and the fueling is almost finished. Next weekend I will do the same in the a10. Then it’s game on and taking a trip to the strip. Would be happy with those times

HPT cannot unlock. I bought my T87a TCM from HHP, which I believe is the sole source. Mine has various 2nd gear launch tunes, but 1st gear launch is much faster.

Here are my tme slips of my quickest passes. The others I won't post since they are slower when I was trying to win my class in True Street and obviously not full passes to hit the 12.00 index. I was also able to tuck the Nitto 555 R2 305-35-20s under my lowered Lt1. They are about 1/2 taller than the stock so that would have hurt the times down low. I did go in and change the tire diameter to 27.8 on the advice of King as he has the same tire on his car. Obviously, I was car 128
Temps on this run were 76.1 degrees and DA was 2280 Temps on this run were 86.4 degrees and DA was 2916

Did you add timing to the top three rows of the min spark tables?

What are your thoughts on the big MPH differences? The car should have did less MPH on the 86 degree run and Because your 1st two passes were so close everywhere on both time slips with a 5mph trap speed difference. Just seems odd, maybe because the runs were in different lanes and one of the MPH calculators was not calculating correctly?? Great passes and a great job prepping and driving for sure.
