Stock tire gives more feedback and grip.

Thank you

If these are your priorities, like mine, tire rack agrees with me that the stock tires are the way to go.

So many people told me to go with the MPS4S that I did. Should have listened to tire rack.

Lol...

To be fair MPSS / 4S are great tires for street, they're just not dual duty street/track tires like the GYS3. MPSS are much softer, but once you get used to that they do have pretty decent grip, they track straight and they ride nice and are fairly quiet.

I wouldn't mind having MPSS for street as well as the GYS3 for track, but I'm not spending the cash, especially when I can get GYS3 for $730/set!

I checked my side walls and the dates for the rear tires were 5116. Merry Christmas! The fronts were 0917. I don't know why Tire Rack said these were 2015, they are obviously made early in the 1LE's production run.

BTW, the Z28 had Michelins.

Guys,
Just picked up a set. It's for the 1LE they were produced pre-production. Not sure how Tire Rack got them but they are legit. Not worried about the age of them. I am going to Buttonwillow this weekend with them. It's been awhile. Ready to lay some 2015 rubber down.

I don't see them available anymore on Tire Rack. They sold quick.. For the Corvette fitment not sure who or why that was said. But nothing different than what I had with the originals..

$730.00 yes ... lucky to be on the search for new rubber.

They've been going in and out of stock for weeks/months, and availability depends on zip code. Currently they are $726.74, a few bucks cheaper than they were a few days ago.

If you don't see them now keep on checking and it's likely they will come back in stock.

TireRack suggests the $730 price is a closeout price. They have a non-closeout one for $1179.
