Pennzoil 5W30 Full Synthetic Platinum Motor Oil (5-qt.) $14.97 AR @ Walmart

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Pennzoil-5...-5-qt/35930941

http://www.pennzoil.com/promotions-national-rebate/

Not getting into which oil is better and so on. Just throwing it out there that there is a pretty good deal/rebate for those that prefer Pennzoil.

That's actually a good deal even without the rebate.

I got the Ultra Platinum last week and did rebate. Figured still a good deal of a good deal. Since the deal is one time per person, household or address (email and physical).
I got extra for after my midway break-in period and several changes and still get back 1/3 of what i paid, $40 back.

I would not use a fram filter on any car, not even a Yugo if I had one.
Just use the OEM AC Delco filter.

Why? Give a true reason and not that it just is a Fram.

The Ultra isn't like there others. On BobIsTheOilGuy it's rated as one of the best filters you can get by many people on the forums there.

My biggest issue is if you go in for a warranty claim and have some catstrophic engine failure they may deny your claim for using a junk filter. Is an engine worth saving $2 on a filter?
