60% brake pad thickness... pics.

Going to a track day. Tech inspection sheet requires 60% brake pad thickness. I took some photos of all 4 outside pads (pics attached). Do the pics show 60% or greater thickness? Do I need to check the inside pads as well? It's a 2018 1LE with 12,000 miles and one HPDE track weekend (eight 20 minute sessions).

Agree looks fine. General rule of thumb - if the pad material is thicker than the backing plate, you should be a-OK.

Thanks for the replies. I think it looks greater than 60% too. I imagine 60% would be a millimeter or two before the squealer tab. I took a photo of my friend's 2SS today with 3k miles (no track days). See pic below.

These types of tools may help or try finding an object with similar thickness to the remaining usable pad to stick in there and then pull it out and measure it with digital calipers ( https://www.harborfreight.com/6-in-d...ngs-63731.html ):

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00829RHE8 (works for fronts only on our cars)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07LCGVSZG

Also for future reference, here is the stock SS 1LE front brake pad thickness:

16.11mm total thickness - 6.31mm backing plate thickness = 9.80mm usable front brake pad thickness.

6.68mm usable pad before reaching metal squeaker, 3.12mm usable after metal squeaker contacts front rotor.

^This assumes the unlikely scenario of perfectly even wear between the left and right calipers and the inside/outside pads on each caliper and no uneven taper wear on any pads. Probably best to change pads 1mm or more earlier than "required" to account for likely slightly uneven wear. I have also read that the last 1/2 or 1/3 of the pad material wears at a faster rate but not sure if there is an actual source for this.
