QTP Cutout Owners
I want to get QTP cutouts but need to hear how they sound before dropping $800 on parts/labor.
Does anyone in the Houston area have QTP cutouts on a stock 6th gen V8 that I can come and hear?

So I got the cutouts few days ago. Initial impression is that they sound awesome as long as the rpm's are going up or down. Cruising at any rpm sounds like "ass" (drone) as mentioned above. I can usually shift up or down a gear to cut the drone considerably, but it is still annoying enough to want to close the cutouts while driving at constant speeds for more than a minute. Good thing is that my commute is short with very little highway.
Cutouts were placed right before the suitcase muffler and have 3" turndowns. Volume is about twice as loud than stock in sport mode, plus you can feel the exhaust sound pulses like riding a motorcycle. Definitely turns heads. Halfway or less open results in best tone. Aces Performance Exhaust in Houston did the install and they did quality work.
