Your picture is better than mine, better lighting. Makes me regret posting mine, let alone taking mine lol. It’s from when I installed it. Was so happy I did it and quickly took a crummy pic.

Both pics are good because yours look more like nighttime. Either way, I’m totally sold and will taking the dash back apart when the sun goes down and it isn’t 102 degrees out...

I’m also going to try and blend the scratches a bit with a heat gun. Wish me luck!

How are you guys popping the chrome ring off of the old starter button? I don't see a release and I don't want to crack it.

Edit: Nvm the gf figured it out. I kept trying to slide is backwards and she recommended going forward and it popped right out.

Press on the tabs where the marker points and push the button out of the front of the bezel.

Thanks Heath! I was trying to push it backward instead of forward. Got it to pop right off.

Good luck on the heat gun. And I did the same thing, took me a minute. Couldn’t recall exactly how I did it. I just remember once I figured it out, it was super simple/easy.

If you recall, I asked you about removing the bezel.

I do remember you asking me. I just don’t remember now what I told you then lol. The pictures you posted (catching up on thread at work) reminded me. It comes apart opposite what one would think. Easy mod/swap.

Short throw will probably be towards the bottom of the list once we get settled in our new house.

The BRZ really was great, but these two cars just don't even compare. I had big plans for the BRZ (supercharger, cage, suspension upgrade all around, etc.), but just never had the time (or the funds honestly). The SS has plenty of power for me so just a few cosmetic upgrades and I'll be happy.

Also currently shopping for side markers, rock guards, an outdoor cover and possibly the side skirts. They look so good on the F1FTY.

The big bummer is missing out on the collectors pack you guys received with the new purchase. I checked with the social media team and they referred me to the GM Heritage team, but I struck out there. They said the stock was depleted in 2018 and also was not able to give me my build number. Judging by my build date vs the registry I figure I am in the 1000s.
I went with Diode Dynamics for side markers (smoked version). So far no issues. As for the rock guards I went with the GM versions. However, they don’t play well with side skirts. There are some aftermarket ones that will allow for the side skirts (ground effects). I’m sure others will chime in about the specifics.
